An NGO called Kokun Foundation has announced plans to give physically challenged man molested by soldiers in Onitsha, Anambra state for wearing military camouflage a new accommodation.
The foundation made the announcement on its Instagram page late on Friday, February 10.
According to the foundation, the man will also get a new business of his choice that will be set up for him. This is even as the foundation donated various gifts to the man on Friday.
In a similar vein, the man was also received by the Nigerian Army and was given several gifts by the security outfit which apologized for the behaviour of the soldiers.
Meanwhile, the Nigerian Army has announced punishment for the soldiers that molested and beat up a physically-challenged man for wearing army camouflage in Onitsha, Anambra state.
Army spokesman Brigadier-General Usman Sani Kukasheka said in a statement late on Friday, February 10 that the soldiers have been demoted and jailed for their actions which he said was an embarrassment to the Army.
