News: 3 senior legal counselors pull back from Maryam Sanda’s preliminary


The preliminary of Maryam Sanda, blamed for murdering her better half Bilyaminu Bello, has endured another difficulty as three senior legal advisors who were her safeguard direct, have pulled back from the case. Maryam was captured in November a year ago after she professedly wounded her significant other, Bilyaminu Bello, child of previous PDP director Haliru Bello, to death at their Abuja home.

She was charged in court close by her mom, Maimuna Aliyu, her sibling, Aliyu Sanda and one Sadiya,for the homicide of Bilyaminu. The three other co-litigants, were blamed for helping her to disguise the proof by cleaning the blood of the expired from the scene of the wrongdoing.

In a notice of withdrawal of insight documented under the watchful eye of the court said to be "in accordance with Section 492(3) of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act, 2015", Maryam's advice requested that the court "Pay heed that Mr. J.B. Daudu SAN thus pulls back appearance as insight to Maryam Sanda charged as first litigant for this situation." The notice was dated September 18 and marked by Daudu.

In a comparative notice, marked by advice to the second litigant, Rotimi Ogunesan (SAN) dated September 20, the court was educated of the guidance's withdrawal from the preliminary.

Albeit no reasons were expressed in the notification for the withdrawal, there are hypotheses anyway on issues encompassing lawful charges not being paid quickly.

In light of these advancements, the court was requested to think about November 7, 8, 13 or 14 as new dates for the continuation of preliminary.
