The party recently generated more than sixty million naira from the sales of the Nomination and expression of interest forms, but the money cannot be accounted for.
It was gathered that eleven out of the twelve aspirants officially paid five million and five hundred thousands for the forms while the only woman aspirant got the form free of charge according to the APC constitution.
Some of the adverts placed in the newspapers were said to have taken more than two years without payment by the ruling party.

The break down of the advert debts shows that the Nation, Leadership, the Sun, Blueprint, Vanguard and Daily Trust have the highest shares unpaid advert.
One of the journalists who revealed the plan to carry placards against Chief Oyegun led NWC next week said they resulted to take the action after several appeals to the party hierarchy failed.
Oyegun has been accused by many party chieftains of the party of mis-managing the party’s finances since he assumed office.
Five months ago, the deputy national publicity secretary of the APC, Comrade Timi Frank appealed to the staff of the party not to strike as the party battles to shore its finances and settle arrears of unpaid salaries.
Frank, however, challenged the Oyegun-led National Working Committee NWC to account for all the money generated from the sales of governorship forms as well as membership registration fees.
“Non-payment of staff salaries is a leadership problem in APC secretariat which I have been talking about”, he said in a statement issued on Tuesday March 14, in Abuja.
