Notorious kidnapper Chukwudumebi Onwuamaegbu also known as Evans who was arrested after evading the Nigerian police for long has reportedly repented in prisons.
According to Vanguard, the kidnapper requested for a Bible when members of a Pentecostal church visited Kirikiri prison.
Evans was remanded in Kirikiri after he pleaded guilty to kidnap charges in court.
It was reported that a group of Christians visited the prison on Sunday, a few weeks after Evans was remanded.

Evans reportedly asked for a Bible after the group requested to see him. It was gathered that the bewildered preachers obliged to his request and prayed for his soul.
The leader of the group was said to have announce that Evans’ behaviour is a show of repentance.
ZENITHBLOG.com recently reported that the kidnapper’s confession to the police led to the arrest of other criminals.
According to Vanguard, sources at the prison revealed that Evans shed uncontrollable tears when he was brought before the court during his trial.
The source said: “We were in prison with other suspects that day when Evans was brought to court with the official vehicle of a top police officer in Lagos. He was shedding tears uncontrollably. Then, after he was remanded, we took him to Kirikiri prison where he will stay pending his trial.
