Some women of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have decried the growing suffering experienced by the masses.
The women condemning the leadership style of the All Progressives Congress (APC) said power must come back to the PDP in 2019.
Speaking to ZENITHBLOG.com during the national expanded caucus meeting of the PDP in Abuja on Monday, July 17, the national coordinator of women solidarity group Rita Audu, said her team are set to mobilize party members in preparation for the 2019 election.
Rita who is part of the voters and canvassers for the PDP said: “We go round the 36 states in the country campaigning for the presidential campaign, and in FCT (Federal Capital Territory to deliver PDP.”

Reacting to the recent Supreme Court judgemnet on the case between former national chairman of the PDP Ali Modu-Sheriff, four others and the party, Rita said Nigeria’s leadership must return to PDP.

She said: “The court judgement is really fantastic and by the will of God we will mobilize to vote, to see that our party comes back to power in 2019.”
“We plan to mobilizing, canvas from the wards – the grassroots – to states and other means that we know and are effective to make our party come back.
I advise PDP women and even non-PDP women to come and join PDP because during PDP administration, we ate, no hunger, we were eating, no wahala,” Rita said.

Rita further advised Nigerians to endeavour to vote for PDP in the next general election in 2019.

She said the reign of PDP again in Nigerian will end hunger pain, and suffering of the masses.
On the way forward for the PDP women, Rita told ZENITHBLOG.com that her team will work towards massive mobilization of women and men to vote for the party.
They know the truth, they are even calling us that we should come back, and anywhere we go to, PDP come back we are suffering.
I went to Karu Market the other day, Mama, Mama, come back we are suffering.
Rita also said her team would ensure that the 2019 elections will be observed by foreigners and the global community at large.

She said: “No cheating, no ‘Magomago’, if another party wins no problem but if PDP wins they should leave it for us. As Goodluck conceded to them, APC, they should concede and give us.”
Not deterred from the crisis that had rocked the party’s leadership, Rita further said she and her team are convinced that power will return to the PDP in 2019.
ZENITHBLOG.com earlier reported that the former President Goodluck Jonathan said it is heartwarming to know that Nigerians still believed in the PDP.
Jonathan while congratulating the party members over the Supreme Court judgement said all hands must be on deck to ensure that the PDP is strengthened.
Also commending the caretaker committee led by former Kaduna state governor Ahmed Makarfi for remaining resolute during the party’s leadership tussle, Jonathan said the PDP must first focus on building its strength for 2019 elections.
