Nigerians are currently reacting to a set of photographs showing excited officers of the Nigeria Police Force at the sight of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
Kanu, since his release from an almost two-year detention, has continued to win the heart of many in the south-eastern part of the country.

However, he has also recently being facing attacks from the Ohanaeze Ndi-Igbo, the acclaimed apex socio-cultural group of the Igbo people in Nigeria.

A Nigerian, Somto Okonkwo, posted the photographs on social media saying: “I thought they said Nigerians want ‘One Nigeria’ and that Biafrans are the only ones agitating for self-determination?

Meanwhile, ZENITHBLOG.com had earlier reported that the Ohanaeze Ndi-Igbo warned the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) to stop arrogating to itself the supreme leadership of Igbo land.
It quoted the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) as reporting that the president-general of the organisation, John Nwodo, issued the warning in Awka on Thursday, June 29 while addressing members of the Anambra House of Assembly.
