A scammer who poses as acting president of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo’s wife, Dolapo, while defrauding Nigerians, has been spotted on Facebook.
Why do people go to extreme lengths to take advantage of other people especially through the use of social media?
A fraudulent person has devised a new means of defrauding unsuspecting Nigerians, by posing as Mrs Dolapo Osinbajo, on Facebook.
The people who for some reason believe that they are talking to Mrs Osinbajo, are told that a new scheme will soon materialise which will cater to the youths, rendering help to them.

The person behind the fake account says the scheme will enable people get loans. However, whoever wants the loan has to have money in their account and be willing to provide their “statement of account and some documents of the account.”
The kind of English the fraudster writes with however makes it really easy to notice that it is a scam, even though the person tried to pass the Facebook page off as an authentic one.
