– Government’s failure to address the issue has prompted some residents to raise alarm on social media

A Facebook user, Kenechukwu Onwuzo has lamented about the state of roads in Aguata ring road, Nibo in Anambra state.

Onwuzo who took to his page to lament about the state of the road, blamed the Anambra state government for not addressing the issue.

He also described the situation as a “state of emergency.”

“There is a state of emergency at Nibo, along Aguata Ring Road. Motorists beware.

“The road which used to be the only decent toad that connects the Nibo area with Aguata is caving in as we speak. A multi-million naira building is on the verge of being lost to the environmental hazard,” Onwuzo wrote.

Similarly, an Edo state resident, Ogbeide Ifaluyi-Isibor, has accused Governor Godwin Obaseki of failing to address the transportation challenges in the state.

Ifaluyi-Isibor took to his Facebook page on Tuesday, June 27, to slam the governor for his alleged move to address the situation.

Ifaluyi-Isibor shared the photos of two buses with some people trying to enter the bus with a caption: “The noiseless governor has done it again. He’s purchased 2 fairly used buses to meet the needs of over 2.5million commuters in Edo state.There are somethings to be ashamed of.”
