Nigerians react to alleged leakage of Buhari's photo

A picture of President Muhammadu Buhari in London has been circulating across the internet as a leaked photo of the president on his current medical leave although this has been proven to be false.

The picture showed the president sitting on a char wearing a brown robe and was tagged as the first leaked picture of Buhari since his travel to London for medical treatment.

However, the picture has been proven to be a fake as it was actually taken in February when the president was also in the UK on medical vacation.

Since his recent travel to London for medical treatment, no picture

of the president has been shown although there have been reports of Buhari meeting with some Nigerians with the most recent being acting president, Professor Yemi Osinbajo’s trip to London.

After the circulation of the picture, Nigerians took to social media to to express their opinion about the president and the fact that he has been away from the country for a long time.
