Lagos state commissioner of police Galadanshi Dasuki told newsmen that the police was not in a hurry to release Evans in spite of calls from different quarters to do so

But Moshood while speaking to Premium Times said not all news regarding Evans from the media should be believed and taken as truth by Nigerians.

He said the police are still investigating, including criminal cases involving the suspect in Ghana and other African countries.

While explaining that the police would do everything within its capacity to ensure proper investigation and prosecution of the suspect, Mr Moshood noted that the police have no power over the decision of the court on the case.

In the video below, ZENITHBLOG.com TV asked some Nigerian’s what they think should be done to alleged kidnap kingpin, Chukwudubem Onwuamadike popularly known as Evans.
