Fight against Boko Haram suffers huge setback as 'devil wind' destroys military aircrafts (photos)

Chadian troops fighting Boko Haram have suffered huge setback after heavy winds destroyed aircrafts used in combating the insurgents.

Chadian army has been battling Boko Haram insurgents who have become a threat to some countries in the West African region.

Chadian troops are part of a Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) which is also made up of soldiers from Niger Republic, Cameroon and Benin battling Boko Haram terrorists in North Eastern Nigeria and surrounding border communities.

Meanwhile, an attack by Boko Haram on an army post in the Lake Chad region has left nine Chadian soldiers dead.

Dozens of Boko Haram members were also killed as the army responded to the attack on the Kaiga Post on May, 5, 2017.
