Ex-girlfriend of Nigerian pilot who died in the US regrets not forgiving him while he was alive

ZENITHBLOG.com earlier reported the death of a young Nigerian man who was flying a plane solo in the US, his ex-girlfriend has come out to apologise for hating him while he was alive.

Losing someone who once meant someone to us can be one of the most heartbreaking things one can experience in life. However, having them die while you were hating them, could be very depressing.

This is the current situation of Faridat Abubakar, an ex-girlfriend of the young man, Mark Ukaere, who died while flying a plane in Miami, USA, recently.

Faridat who claimed to have hated the young man so much, took to social media to express her regrets for not forgiving him while he lived.

While apologising to her deceased ex, Faridat wrote:

“I woke up to a bad news this morning and now I am so pained. My day is ruined, oh Mark I’m so sorry for how I have treated you. I wish this is a lie so I can make it up to you. You weren’t just a friend but a very special one, now I’m remembering when you will call me but I wouldn’t answer you well because I was so angry at you.

class="align-left">I hated you for hurting me and I would tell you I have a new boyfriend and you would be so jealous but still tell me ‘I hope you are happy’, but in fact I am not. It is the most messed up relationship I ever had, I was just lying to you. You called on June 14 and wanted to talk to me and network couldn’t make you hear me, but I dropped the call on you and I didn’t care to call back and now, today you are gone.

How could I hate you so much and now you’re gone, you didn’t even give me a chance to tell you I have forgiven you, why Mark? Why? Now you’re making me cry so much, never lost someone so close to me, didn’t know this is how it felt to lose someone so dear to you.

You were so kind, so loving, so caring. Now you’ve left me without even saying goodbye. I’m so sorry Mark. I promise I will never hate anyone again I promise.”
