Accused of not doing much like its sister anti-graft agencies, the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission (ICPC) has commenced intensive enlightenment.

The enlightenment comes in the form of an Anti-Corruption Summit that was ongoing at the time of this report.
The government of President Muhammadu Buhari came on the heels of alleged high-profile corruption in the country.

Since then various sums have allegedly been recovered from reported looters.
Meanwhile, Ibrahim Magu, the acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) recently said he only needs the support of President Muhammadu Buhari and Yemi Osinbajo to remain in his position.

Magu said this on Friday, July 7, 2017 in Kano when he hosted some civil society groups. Magu had been rejected at least twice by the Senate.
The upper legislative chamber has now threatened a face-off with the executive if Magu is not removed immediately.
