According to Alaka, the centre worked closely with Adeparusi on many projects, adding that his dignity, honesty, and dedication to work singled him out as a goal-getter.
“We say Yinka as a young man full of dreams, who should be emulated by the younger generation. He was focused and committed. WSCIJ is glad to associate with the foundation,” she said.

The acting chairman of the foundation, Mr Femi Ajasa, who gave the background into the focus of the foundation, said the platform would maintain the standard the late photojournalist was known for.
His words: “We are considering three major areas to focus our activities on, which include the academic institute he passed through, the family he left behind and the media world he actively engaged while alive. Yinka lived for excellence and his dream must be kept alive.”
Adeparusi, who until his death was a photojournalist with ZENITHBLOG.com, died in a fatal accident in Abuja, and his copse was later found in a morgue on November 15, after about 24 hours he was declared missing.
