Tragedy was averted in Ondo state when a tanker filled with fuel lost control before plummeting into a river.
The incident which happened along Akure-Owo road in the North senatorial district of the state was narrated by an eye witness.

The unnamed witness also claimed that, two of the occupants of the tanker came out safely while one was still missing as at the time of filling the report.
The witness said: “I was an eye witness at this rear accident along Akure owo road, Ondo state when a 33,000litres Total Oil tanker lost control and fell into the Big Ogbese river. It was raining at the time of the accident.
“There were three occupants in the trailer but only two has successfully swam out at the time of this report with one still missing. I pray they find the third guy which is the driver soon because the current of the river is too great”
