Instead of making 1 naira equal to a dollar you are busy with excuses – Wike knocks APC

– Wike says the PDP government in Rivers is better than the APC-led federal government because it is working hard to keep its promises

– The governor says APC leaders should settle down and more pay attention to fulfilling campaign promises

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has been told to stop giving unnecessary excuses and do the work they were voted in for.

This was said by Rivers state governor, Nyesom Wike during the dredging/sand-filling of Abalama in Asari-Toru and Bakana in Degema local government areas in the oil-rich south-south state.

Wike said APC is different from the PDP which is working hard to keep its promises to Rivers people.

Wike says the APC has to focus on fulfilling its campaign promises

He said:: “We are redefining the pattern of politics in Nigeria. You cannot use people and dump them. We cannot give everyone money, but we can execute projects that everybody will benefit from.

“We are not like those who said they will make one naira to equal one dollar. Instead of actualising their promise,

they are busy giving excuses.”

Wike noted that the APC-led President Muhammadu Buhari administration must settle down and began to fulfil the many campaign promises it made to Nigerians.

ZENITHBLOG.com reported recently that Nigeria’s main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had accused the ruling APC of destroying the country’s economy and political system in just two years.

The party, in a statement released on Wednesday, March 29, lamented its exit from power two years ago and the following drop in the standard of living of Nigerians among other things since then.
