Some five years ago, Tyler Wesley was involved in a terrible accident. That the teenager is still alive is a miracle. The near fatal crash left him paralysed from his shoulder all the way down.

The accident left him motionless as he could neither walk nor stand up on his own. But his determination to recover appears to have defied all odds.In the eye-watering footage, Wesley can be seen demonstrating that he has indeed made significant progress. He can be seen trying to stand up from his wheelchair and on his own.

The video has since gone viral. Many of those who have watch Wesley’s footage have been deeply touched.

“This is truly God’s miracle. I would urge you to keep going strong young man. You are a survivor. I wish you all the best in your efforts,” says one user. “Man this is so inspiring. I am really touched! The footage has immense power. Please keep up your progress,” added another.

Everyone, including the doctors, never knew for sure that Wesley will ever walk again. But this video shows he has made some steps.
