Fani-Kayode recounting the essence of God’s presence in any form of leadership said: “I was moved by the words of President Donald Trump when he spoke about how United States of America are not people that worship the government.
“He said we are a nation that do not worship government we worship God, and that America is a nation of people that fear God, that believe in God and a nation if true believers.
“That is the very foundation of the very essence of the Trump phenomena,” Fani Kayode said.
“What we need in this country today are leaders that fear God, that are prepared to honour God, prepared to dedicate this great nation of ours to God and are prepared to speak truth and power and to let the world know that the powers that be, particularly the Aso Drive and the Aso Villa, that at the end of the day all powers belongs to God.
The former minister said until Nigeria get that God-kind of leadership, its problems and challenges will continue.

“And I made some prophetic pronouncement here that day that if this country makes the monumental mistake of electing him as president or allowing him to be president that at the end of the day we will regret it because it will end in disaster.
“At that time I really had no idea about what he would end up doing, will be even 10 times more than what I thought.

“These things have to be said because we say these things behind closed doors and only a few will say it openly,” he said.
“I have been in politics for 30 years, you will not hear the things that you need to hear from 95% per cent of politicians,” Fani-Kayode added.

Also speaking on his new work, Ndukwe said the book is a compilation of all essays he had written in the past about leadership in Nigeria.
Ndukwe said the present administration has taken Nigeria from bad to worse since taking over power in May 2015.
He said: “This administration has got it all wrong, what they need to do now is to go back to the drawing board, change strategies and even team players.”
“They must desist from harassing the Nigerian citizens, the judiciary and avoid being selective of what court rulings they obey,” Ndukwe said.
