Former minister of aviation Femi Fani-Kayode has slammed persons he described as “corpsocrats” who he said are trying to prevent Vice President Yemi Osinbajo from taking the role of Acting President since President Buhari is away for medical check-up.

According to him, the corpsocrats don’t care about constitutional provisions, the rules or the niceties.

However, he urged Nigerians to pray for Osinabjo as he needs support and prayers.

Fani-Kayode also claimed that there is one thing that he knows which will shock Nigerians but will not say it now. He added that the thing is unbelievable and shocking.

The former minister took to his Facebook page on Wednesday, May 10, to

make the disclosure.

ZENITHBLOG.com had reported that Buhari announced on Sunday, May 7, that he will be travelling to London to meet with his doctors for follow up checks, adding that he had sent a letter to the Senate in that effect.

However, there was uproar yesterday, May 9, over the choice of words in the letter President Muhammadu Buhari sent to the Senate on his medical vacation, in which the he (Buhari) said that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo “will co-ordinate the activities of the government”

However, the Senate declared that Professor Yemi Osinbajo would function as Acting President pending the return of President Muhammadu Buhari.
