Williams Okonoboh Eromosele, has been sentenced to seven years in prison with hard labour for stealing a mobile phone inside a church by an Igbosere magistrate’s court sitting in Lagos.

Williams, who is an ex- convict, and a graduate of accountancy from Auchi Polytechnic in Edo state was recently sentenced by magistrate Mrs. O. Otitoju after he pleaded guilty on one-count charge.
The 28-year-old Auchi graduate was arrested after he stole a Huawei G73 phone valued at N70,000 at the Church of Resurrection Anglican located at 1004 estate, Victoria Island, Lagos, months after he was released from prison for stealing money from church offering box in December 2016.
Meanwhile, the Lagos state police command said a new kidnappers’ hideout has been discovered in Ikorodu.

The Commissioner of Police in Lagos, Mr Fatai Owoseni, who confirmed the discovery to newsmen, said that it was made during raids of creeks at Isawo in Ikorodu area of Lagos.
Owoseni said that the hideout was discovered on Thursday by a team of Ikorodu Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) and Volunteer Police led by Superintendent Godfrey Soriweiu.
