Labour Party (LP) has said that the Chibok schoolgirls were never kidnapped by Boko Haram insurgents in April 2014.
ZENITHBLOG.com gathered that the party said the abduction of the girls was used to dent the image of former president, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan’s administration.
Labour Party said God’s wrath will visit those who manipulated Nigerians with the incident.

Abdulkadir Abdulsalami, the national chairman of the party, in a statement said: “the All Progressives Congress, APC-led government should not claim credit for what was packaged and pre-arranged.”

“If they claimed to have captured Sambisa Forest, from which other forest will they say they have brought the girls recently released? I think Nigerians need to be told the truth by our leaders, if they want sympathy from Almighty God.
“When we get to May 29 next year, they will release all the remaining girls. But the fact of the matter, as I have been saying during and after the campaign for the 2015 elections, is that these Chibok girls were not kidnapped by any Boko Haram.
“They were prepared and arranged to destroy the image and administration of Goodluck Jonathan.”
The 82 girls were released on Saturday, May 7, in exchange for some Boko Haram commanders.
ZENITHBLOG.com previously reported that a top security source confirmed that 164 parents and relatives of the 82 Chibok schoolgirls would be taken to Abuja to meet with their girls.

The source said: “82 girls were rescued two weeks ago. Each of the girls is entitled to two parents or two relatives as the case may be which implies that 164 parents or relatives will be conveyed to Abuja by the Federal Government.”
