Rev Felix Omobude, the National President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), on Monday, May 8, commended President Muhammad Buhari over the release of the 82 Chibok school girls.
The commendation is contained in a statement signed by his Media Aide, Mr Ralph Okhiria in Benin.
According to the statement by the PFN president, the christian group decried how Nigerians were making mockery of President Muhammadu Buhari health status.
“It is ridiculous, embarrassing and ungodly, how some Nigerians were making uncomplimentary remarks about the health status of President Muhammadu Buhari.
“Nigerians should know that the president is human and needs the sincere prayers of all well-meaning Nigerians to steer the ship of the nation.
“It is important that we should show some level of respect to the Office of President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, irrespective of the political party, religion or ethnic group we belong to.”

In an earlier report by ZENITHBLOG.com, a Kaduna-based Islamic scholar, Malam Muhammad Nafi’u, on Monday lambasted those celebrating the ill health of President Muhammadu Buhari, saying they are sinning against God.
Nafi’u, who is the Cheif Imam of Nupe Road Central Mosque, Kaduna said in an interview in Kaduna that the President, like all mortals have a right to seek for medical attention.
“If Buhari is not feeling fine it is not a sin for him to seek for medical attention, he is a human being like everyone of us.”
He noted that President Buhari had demonstrated love and commitment to the people of Nigeria and deserves nothing less than prayers.
“Rather than wasting time on sinful propagation of falsehood, we should be praying for Buhari to have sound health,” the Imam said.
