The governors under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have said they would not support the factional national chairman of their party Ali Modu-Sheriff.
The governor said they would not be party to Sheriff’s proposed national convention.
An Appeal Court in Port Harcourt had pronounced Sheriff as the authentic national chairman of the PDP.
Following the court’s order, Sheriff promised that he would leave after PDP’s national convention, in order to quell the long standing leadership crisis within the party.
