Prophet TB Joshua predicts further fall of naira, says it will hit N650 to a dollar

Prophet TB Joshua has prophesied that the naira will reach a ratio of 650 to one US dollar.

The general overseer of the Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) made his prophecy in front of his congregants on Sunday, February 19 which was broadcast live on the SCOAN’s official TV station – Emmanuel TV.

The revered prophet said the naira will reach a ratior of 650 to one dollar on the black market before it stabilises “if the system agrees with divine will”.

The prophet said the issues concerning the naria/dollar disparity would continue to plague the country “until June”.

He also called on his congregants

Speaking on Nigeria’s democracy, Prophet Joshua said: “More importantly, we also have to rise up and pray that the Lord should give us the grace to sustain democracy. Pray for an uninterrupted democracy.”

The naira crashed to a new record low at parallel market as it now trades at N516 per United States dollar as at Thursday, February 16.

The local currency also depreciated to N630 against the Pound sterling from N625 and crashed against Euro to trade at N538 from N535.
