The Delta state police command in Asaba on Thursday, February 23, 2017 paraded 25 criminal suspects involved in various crimes in the state. 12 were arrested for kidnapping, 7 were arrested for armed robbery while 6 were arrested for other crimes around the state.
They were paraded and shown to journalists with the different crimes they committed. Locally made guns, pump action guns, dane guns, live cartridges and vehicles were recovered from them by the police.
One of them popularly called Madam Cash has been arrested several times but allegedly for plenty obtained from the illicit trade, has been setting herself free and going back to the business.
Some colleagues even alleged that she, at one time, gave out N2million to police officers to free herself and find her way back to her trade. Madam Cash, a 40 old lady, is also said to be cruising town with jeeps allegedly acquired through her child theft business.
