Buhari’s death wishers have been handed over to God – President’s bosom friend declares

– It has been four weeks since President Muhammadu Buhari left Nigeria to the United Kingdom on vacation

– Since the president left the country, there had been speculations about his state of health with some Nigerians claiming he is dead

– Wali reveals that the fake stories about his death actually ‘injured’ the president’s family and the people of Daura where the latter hails from

Ahmed Ahidjo Wali, a bosom friend to Muhammadu Buhari, said late Sunday, February 12 that those wishing the president dead have been handed over to God for judgement.

Buhari’s friends and family members are not happy with the rumour of his death

Buhari is currently in his fourth week in the United Kingdom where he had gone on vacation and medical attention.

Wali, a community leader in Daura where the president hails from, described those allegedly wishing Buhari dead as evil elements for reportedly spreading falsehood which caused tension in the country.

He also urged security agencies to take

help fish out the perpetrators of the death wish and prosecute them.

Vanguard reports Wali as saying those who peddled the rumour of Buhari’s death actually wanted to to create the impression that the north is unfortunate in terms of capable leaders to run the country.

He said those who carried the rumour were wicked and mischievous.

He said the president was alive and well and on vacation despite the attempt by some desperate Nigerians to recreate the late Umaru Musa Yar’Adua saga.

Wali said Daura and Buhari’s family are not deterred by the death wishes and rumour as they are seriously preparing for the president’s return to the country.
