Known to be one of popular destinations for international students, Italy boasts of highly-ranked universities that offer quality education at a more affordable tuition fee than many other Western European countries.

This is perhaps why many international students (including Nigerians) choose to study in Italy.

In this article, ZENITHBLOG.com seeks to provide answer to a frequently asked question by International graduates who want to know what the next stage is, after they might have filled their pre-enrollment form for post graduate studies in Italy.

According to ZENITHBLOG.com findings, there are six pre-enrollment steps an International student should follow in his/her dream to school in Italy. They are;

– Fill the Online Application Form

– Fill the Pre-enrolment form

– Gather Your Academic Documents

– Go to your Diplomatic Authorities (Embassy or Consulate)

– E-mail your Formalized Documents

– Apply for Study Visa

As an International student, you need to book an appointment with the embassy after you must have filled the pre-enrollment form.

Thereafter, you will take your original documents to the embassy to start your visa application process. You will also have to present the admission letter from the school you have been accepted in.

Once you have booked an appointment with an Italian Embassy or Consulate in your country, it is then time to go there with the following documents:

– The two passport-sized photographs

– The official certificate issued by the academic institution where you graduated with the list of all the exams you passed

– The original legalized University degree or educational qualification and officially translated into Italian

– Two original copies of the Pre-enrolment Form

– The Conditional Letter of Acceptance

The embassy will thereafter formalize your documents as you are expected to scan and send these formalize documents back.

Once you receive a formal acceptance letter from University of your choice, you must immediately contact the Italian embassy once again in order to apply for the study visa

Best of luck!
