We love you, carry on PMB! – Pro-Buhari rally holds in London (photos)

– As the president prepares to return to Nigeria, after 105 days away from work, there are many conflicting opinions

– Some are very happy to see President Buhari return, while others say he was forced by the renewed protests against him

– Other supporters of Buhari organized a rally in London urging him to ignore distractions

While, the leaders of the Our Mumu Don Do protest on Wednesday, August 16, cancelled a proposed march to the Presidential Villa from the popular Unity Fountain in Abuja, Nigeria for fear of clash with a pro-Buhari group.

Another Pro-Buhari rally happened, but this did not take place at Unity Fountain. Instead it happened at Abuja House in London

Nigerians were pictured with placards urging President Buhari to carry on and ignore the distractions of his enemies.

‘Ignore their distractions! Carry on PMB!’

It was earlier reported that a group led by popular musician and former television presenter, Charles ‘Charly Boy’ Oputa, said it will not continue with its march to the Presidential Villa as scheduled.

Speaking to ZENITHBLOG.com, Deji Adeyanju, the convener of the Concerned Nigerians, a civil society organization, said: “It would not be wise for us to march to the Villa as planned.”

However, their protest did hold in the UK as they gathered outside President Muhammadu Buhari’s London residence.

The protesters demanded that the president return home to Nigeria or resign immediately due to an undisclosed ailment that has kept him out of office for more than 100 days.

The protesters could be seen setting up placards and banners outside the president residence. The banners had slogans like: “Protect lives, not cows. “Buhari, go back home. “Resume or Resign, Nigerians say enough is enough.”
