A teenager identified as Katherine Eta has taken home the bronze medal for making third place at the 2017 Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship (MOSWC).
The young genius represented Nigeria in the MOSWC competition that was held in Disneyland, California in United States of America.
Eta won a cash prize of $1,500 (N542,250), a NuVision Solo 10 Draw Tablet and the ReadManna Chairman’s Prize.

The Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship is a contest taken by students across the world to tests their skills on Microsoft Office.

Katherine Eta represented Nigeria alongside 50 other countries

This year Katherine Eta represented Nigerian in the contest’s version on the 2013 and 2016 Microsoft programs.
The competition was contested by about 1.1 million students from 140 countries but only 157 students from 50 countries qualified for the finals in Disneyland.
