A 23-year-old bikeman who is also a 300-level-student of a university in Kenya defied all odds to emerge the winner during the recently concluded parliamentary elections.
Igembe South is in the headlines for electing 23-year-old John Paul Mwirigi- an independent candidate- as the MP.
John who comes from a rather poor background never had any poster put up for campaign, because he could not afford the resources.
Mwirigi was not even close to a favorite in the race.
While his opponents spent million to campaign, Mwirigi had a massive door to door campaign which earned him the votes he needed to get the seat.
He is an orphan who went to day school through well wishers. Dreams are valid People!
Meanwhile, in Nandi county, a 24-year-old lady identified as Cynthia Jepkosgey Muge, also beat her counterparts to emerge winner.
