A group of commercial tricycle riders in Kano state are celebrating the return of President Muhammadu Buhari by offering free rides to commuters, NAN reports.
According to one of the tricycle riders, Malam Badamasi Aminu, the decision was made after a friend shared the idea with the association.

Aminu said that consequently members refilled their vehicles’ petrol tank on Friday, March 10, and offered free ride to all the passengers that patronised them on Saturday, March 11.
He said: “We prayed devotedly for the health of the President while he was in London and it seems our prayers have been answered so we need to thank God in some way.”
Aminu disclosed that about 10 tricycle riders offered same gesture to show gratitude to God for returning the president safely.
The passenger identified as Malama Habiba Abdul, said that it was a commendable gesture and prayed to God to grant the them the reward, better job and wealth.
Kano residents have been expressing gratitude to God for the safe return of President Muhammadu Buhari to the country.
Some of the residents said that they were happy that the President returned to the country safely and in good health.
Buhari returned to the country on Friday, March 10, after a 50-day medical leave in London.
