Nigerians launch protest against military, Buhari in Germany (photos)

– Some Nigerians in Germany have called to an end to the military operation in the southeast

Some Nigerians in Germany have launched a protest against President Muhammadu Buhari and the military operation in the southeast.

In an exclusive report to ZENITHBLOG.com, they called for Operation Python Dance to end and that the military should withdraw from the region.

The demonstrators carried cardboards with inscriptions calling for an end to the military invasion of the southeast region.

They called for due process to be followed in the deployment of security operatives to the region.

Meanwhile, Governor Kashim Shettima of Borno state said that the crisis of the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB separatist being spearheaded by Nnamdi Kanu is bigger than the activities of the deadly terrorist group Boko Haram.

The Nation reports that no fewer than 20, 000 people were believed to have been killed by Boko Haram since the Islamist sect started its attacks in Borno, Yobe and Adamawa states, especially and partly in Abuja and some other parts of the country about eight years ago.

Speaking in Owerri on Monday, September 19 during a meeting with Imo state Governor Rochas Okorocha, when he led a truce team of north’s governors to the state, Shettima said the threats posed by the Nnamdi Kanu-led secessionist IPOB to the nation’s survival are far bigger than those posed by Boko Haram.
