The anti-corruption bureau started their investigation which included going through Aroke’s recent Internet activity.
The investigations disclosed that H-Money had organized several scam schemes, one of which had earned him over N25million. Hope had no other choice but to confess to his crimes. He had just scammed a woman named Angela at the time who ended up paying him more than N25,000,00.
H -Money was arrested in 2016. Upon his arrest, the police siezed Aroke’s two flamboyant cars and charged him with 2 different crimes. The court eventually found him guilty and sentenced him to 12 years imprisonment on each of the two cases. So, in total he was sentenced to 24 years in jail.
