President Muhammadu Buhari has finally returned to the country from London where he had travelled to after taking part in the United Nations General Assembly for 2017.
The president landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport late on Monday, September 23 after four days in London.
President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday, September 21, departed New York for London as announced by Femi Adesina.
Adesina confirmed his return with photographs showing President Buhari with Nigerian foreign officials in United Kingdom shortly before his departure for Abuja and when he was welcomed by Ondo state governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, David Umahi of Ebonyi and Abdulaziz Yari of Zamfara, who is also the chairman of Governor’s Forum as he arrived Nigeria.

ZENITHBLOG.com had also reported that the presidency released pictures showing the moment President Muhammadu Buhari departed New York for London in what some have described as another scheduled medical appointment with his doctors.
The president is expected to return to Nigeria after his transit to London. However, the presidency has declined to state if Buhari’s trip is medically related.
Presidential spokesperson, Garba Shehu, said he cannot confirm if the president was going to see his doctors in London.

‘’I cannot confirm to you. I am in Abuja right now I cannot speak on what I don’t know, nobody has communicated with me,” he reportedly told Premium Times on Thursday, September 21, in a telephone conversation.
