How many ministers does Nigeria have? The Cabinet of Nigeria works as the Executive branch of the Government. Nigeria ministers are appointed by the President and report directly to the President. Currently, the Cabinet of Nigeria oversees 24 Federal Ministers. Each minister is responsible for a certain branch of the Government service, like defence, justice, environment, communication, finance, etc.

Mallam Adamu Adamu was appointed in 2015. He previously served as the Secretary of the President`s Transition Committee.

Minister of Labour and Environment
Dr. Chris Nwabueze Ngige had worked as a Senator of Anambra State Central Constituency before the President assigned him to the current position in the Cabinet of State.
Minister of Federal Capital Territory
Mohammed Musa Bella was appointed to the position after Muhammadu Buhari winning the Presidential Election in 2015.
Minister of Science and Technology
Ogbonnaya Onu has a wonderful experience package before taking the position in the Cabinet of State in 2015. He was the Executive Governor of Abia State and the National Chairman of the ANPP.
