This has been a very difficult question for many to answer, and even if they do their response will be “to make money.” See dearest, we are all destined to make money, therefore, that is not our main purpose of living. But don’t worry, follow me as we discover/ unravel this mystery together.

First and foremost, I would like to start with the things we see such as the living and non-living things. The hen is bought and kept before Christmas but on Christmas day, we kill it because that is the purpose and destiny of the hen. It fulfills its purpose of nourishing the humans and nothing more.

The purpose of the sun is to brighten up the day and help us with so many other things, therefore without the sun, the world will have been in the dark.
The purpose of air is for breathing in an out, so, without the air I am very sure we can’t survive.
A farmer who plants rice is not planting the rice for him and his family only, he planted it for the world and his planting is now a source of blessing to us all because without the planting of rice, what would have been our main source of food in Nigeria?
Without the tailors, what would we have worn? Without the shoemakers, what would we have worn? Without the engineers, who manufactured phones, laptops, bulbs, cars, etc, what will have been our source of energy? Without the farmers, what will we be feeding on? Without the pastor, who will have been our Shepherd? All these people mentioned have been rendering us their services and this has been a source of blessing to us. And what are their services?, THEIR TALENT!!!

Joseph was a dream interpreter and that brought blessing to the land of Egypt because he was able to interpret the dream of pharaoh through his talent. Joseph loved interpreting dreams even at his point of death he still interpreted dreams so therefore his talent is now a source of blessing to Egypt.

So, now ask yourself, what is your purpose of living? What will you do that will be a source of blessing to others? See, the truth about this life is that anything you are doing that is not serving as a point of blessing to others is not your purpose in live.
Jesus was a source of blessing to us and there is a saying that, “A CHILD OF A LION IS A LION”, our father that is in heaven sent us His son because His sole purpose was to be our saviour. So my people, it will be so good to think about this, check yourself, discover that talent and work on it so that you can be a point of blessing to others.
