If there is one very unfortunate local government area in Nigeria, it would be Mayo Belwa/Jada/Ganye which has produced top Nigerian leaders like former Vice President Abubakar Atiku, former national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Bamangar Tukur, and Ahmed Tukur, a former top aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan.

The major road leading to the local government is now described as ‘a route to hell’ because of its terrible state.
A sad Nigerian, Yaris Jatau Hansumbe, who revealed the condition of the road on social media, said apart from the two prominent people, the local government also has the present deputy governor of Adamawa state, Martin Babale.

“These people have been in the corridor of power for a very long time but they can’t fix their local govt’s road.
“A leader that can’t take care of his family, how can he take care of a state? Bunch of deceivers.
“This road was completely tarred by General Abacha in 1996 but today the road is a death trap; all the above mentioned personalities applied (or maybe ply) the same road to their villages.
