Ivorian President Alassane Ouattara has reappointed Prime Minister Daniel Kablan Duncan on Wednesday, January 6, together with his government, according to the Secretary General of the Presidency.

Hours after accepting his resignation, President Ouattara has reappointed the Prime Minister to his former position.
He has directed him to propose a new government without delay.
A source close to the President reported that the proposed government which should have more women, should be unveiled early next week.
President Ouattara first took power in 2010, ending conflict which killed some 3,000 people.
