The Minister of Environment, Amina Mohammed, will stop being a member of President Muhammadu Buhari’s cabinet on March 2.
Amina Mohammed will vacate office as minister in March
She will be heading to New York where she will take up her new job as the deputy secretary-general of the United Nations.
According to her, she will stop being a minister once she
is sworn in at the UN in March.
During her tenure as minister, Mohammed championed the Ogoni clean-up exercise.
