The BBOG said this in a statement on Friday, 13 during its procession in Abuja to protest against the ongoing bloodshed in Southern Kaduna and other parts of the country, as part of activities commemorating the 1006th day since the abduction of the Chibok schoolgirls by the Boko Haram sect.
The group noted that the killings might become a replay of the insurgency in the North-East if it was not speedily addressed.
The movement described as abhorrent the statement from the Presidency that Buhari did not have to respond to every crisis that involved lives and property.

“We hereby demand, as a movement that does not wish to see a replay of the North-East destabilisation; that President Muhammadu Buhari should immediately visit Southern Kaduna to assess the situation for himself as the Commander-in-Chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces.

The group observed that military was deployed in about 30 states of the federation, which it said was an indication that the internal security system is broken.
