– The police arrested the 11 kidnap suspects and paraded them in Abuja

The Nigeria Police Force has paraded 11 suspects described as vicious kidnappers, who until their arrest, held sway along the now very dangerous Abuja-Kaduna highway.
ZENITHBLOG.com learnt some of the suspects were also arrested along the Gwari-Funtua, Birnin Gwari-Kaduna and Kaduna-Kano highways
The police, through its spokesperson, Jimoh Moshood, gave the names of the suspects as:
1. Hassan Ibrahim, a 40-year-old man and leader of the gang. A brand new AK47 rifle was allegedly recovered from him.

2. Lukman Jubrin, a 24-year-old male
3. Yahaya Saibu, who is 25 years old
4. Victor Abila, 28 years old
5. Likita Umar, 27 years old
6. Abdullahi Haruna, 25 years old
7. Usman Marafa, 31 years old
8. Bello Abdullahi, who is 29years old. An AK47 rifle was reportedly recovered from him and another one from his gang.
9. Abdulmumin Alhaji, 27 years old
10. Bala Mohammed, 30 years old
11. Abubakar Mohammed, whose age could not be confirmed.
According to the police, 72 round of AK 47 ammunition, three locally made guns, cutlasses and charms were recovered from the suspects.
The law enforcement agency also said it rescued four kidnap victims, three men and a woman from the suspects.

“They will be arraigned in court on completion of investigation.
“While appreciating the supports of the members of the public in the successes being showcased today, the renewed commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to prevent and detect crimes, most especially violent crimes such as kidnapping and armed robbery throughout the country remained unwavering and unequivocal,” the police said.
ZENITHBLOG.com earlier reported how the Ogun state police command has recovered 15 pump action guns and 14 cut to size locally made pistols from suspected criminals whose offences ranged from armed robbery, kidnapping impersonation to cultism, car snatching and ritual killing.
