A Nigerian man has shocked the world after he revealed that people are smuggling hard substance out of Nigeria using yam tubers.
The Edo-born man who made the shocking revelation on social media expressed that someone had tried to trick him into smuggling hard substance with yams.
According to him, two yam tubers covered in dirt were given to him to take abroad.
He explained that because the yams were covered in dirt he decided to rinse it out before packing the yams with his stuffs.

The man noted that he discovered that water was coming out of the yam as he was rinsing one of them.
He further revealed that while he was checking to see why the yam was leaking he noticed needles and pulled them apart only for him to see hard substance in the yam.
