The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has accused the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) of being responsible for the deaths of many citizens across the length and breadth of Nigeria.
The official Twitter handle of the PDP is presently in the control of the Ahmed Makarfi faction of the opposition
In series of tweets on its official Twitter handle on Sunday, March 26, the opposition party claimed the ruling party was ‘corrupt and visionless’.
It claimed that these were responsible for the many deaths being witnessed.
Alongside its tweets, it included pictures of a body found in a Lagos lagoon.
The PDP says the President Muhammadu Buhari-led government’s inability to provide basic amenities among other things is reportedly responsible for the deaths.
ZENITHBLOG.com gathered that this is the second time in the last four days that the PDP has attacked the APC government on its Twitter handle.
Just on Thursday, March 23, the party tweeted that the APC is responsible for protests aimed at getting Amnesty International out of Nigeria.
The APC retaliated by tweeting the caustic reaction of a Twitter user to the PDP’s allegations.
