ZENITHBLOG.com gathered that during an interactive session with Ikpeazu’s wife at the inauguration of her free meal programme for primary school pupils, Ezichi had complained of the non-payment of teachers’ salaries and allowances by the state government for several months.
The headmistress was said to have informed the governor’s wife of difficulties faced by teachers due to the lack of salary payments.
She also begged Nkechi to intercede on behalf of teachers to the state government.
Unfortunately, two days after the ’embarrassing’ moment for the governor’s wife, Ezichi was whisked away from her school to Umuahia where she was handed a letter of deployment.

Also, the state chairman of the Nigerian Union of Teachers Chizobam Akparanta said he was not aware of the incident.
He also said the teacher would have complained to the NUT about the incident.
