Ekiti state governor Ayodele Fayose has urged clerics across Nigeria to pray for the survival of the country.
Fayose made the call while receiving Rt. Rev. Michael Akinwale, the Secretary of Conference, Methodist Church Nigeria, at the government house in Ado-Ekiti on Monday, March 6.
Lere Olayinka, the governor’s aide on new media, said in a statement late on Monday that Fayose also urged the clerics to speak out against the killings of Christians and faithful of other religions in the northeast of the country.
