The minister of transportation, Mr Rotimi Amaechi has said he will soon go on vacation for 10-days to undergo a medical check-up.

The minister who was speaking during an interview with Arise Television yesterday, January 22 in Abuja said Nigerians need not worry about the health of President Muhammadu Buhari because he is fit and healthy.
His words: ‘’Last Sunday, the president stood for one hour; and if he is not fit he would have collapsed.’’
‘’I do not think we should discuss the president’s medical history. What are we worrying about?’’ he asked rhetorically.
‘’I will soon go for 10 days’ vacation, in which I will go for medical check-up. The rumour about his death or he is alive, is all nonsense,’’ he added.

Meanwhile, President Buhari and Acting President; Yemi Osinbajo spoke on the phone last night to review issues of national importance.
This was revealed by the Osinbajo’s spokesman, Mr Laolu Akande via his Twitter handle.
In a related development, Nigerians have been urged to pray for President Muhammadu Buhari rather than heap blames on the country’s number one citizen.
