The statement read: “We would like to state categorically that this is a false accusation. We wonder why Nigeria will move forward when we are pushing that the good people be thrown out because they have refused to bend the rules to our favour.

“We have worked closely with Nsima for few years now and we can say he is a good person, determined, focused and success oriented. We don’t know why they wrote what they wrote but we can beat our chest to say that Nsima is not a corrupt person. Needless to say he must have effected a new principle that is fighting corruption in the organization hence they want him removed whereas

Nsima is the change NDDC requires at the moment.

“He has recently setup MoUs with development organizations that will turn the Niger Delta and her citizens around and they will begin to enjoy the good of the land that had been hidden from them for a long time. We call on LPCDI to retract this publication and allow Nsima do his job and transform the Niger Delta through the NDDC.”

Meanwhile, former militant commander Israel Akpodoro has called on Nigerians to stop wishing President Muhammadu Buhari dead, rather it would pay Nigerians to pray for the president and let him recover to take care of the affairs of the nation.

The former militant leader, who is taken aback with the torrent of death wishes, implored Nigerians to let the president be. He maintained that it would be of no good to Nigerians to see the president dead and plunge the nation into mourning.
