Nigerian graduates who have been waiting patiently for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) management to tell them when they will be going for service can now smile.

What prospective corps need to know ahead of NYSC orientation camp

The timetable for the 2016 Batch B stream II orientation course is out

The orientation course will commence on January 24.

If you are one of those mobilized for the 2016 Batch B stream II orientation course, here are some important things you need to know.

1. Prospective corps members that did not make payment during online registration will begin collection of their call-up letters in their institutions from January 20.

2. For those who made payment, online printing of call-up letters starts January 19.

3. Academic credentials and other documents

uploaded during the online registration must be presented by prospective corps members at the orientation camp for verification.

4. Registration/verification exercise begins on January 24 and will end at midnight of January 25.

5. All prospective corps members must present medical certificate from a government or military hospital before they will be registered and admitted for the orientation course.

Recall that three corps members lost their lives during the last orientation camp in three states. Their deaths followed brief illnesses.
