Kaduna killings: Kaduna killings: How Buhari, El Rufai are playing politics with the lives of millions of Nigerians - PDP

PDP says it lacks faith in the governments of Kaduna state to stop the killings in southern Kaduna.

The PDP in a statement signed by its national publicity secretary, Prince Dayo Adeyeye, on Monday, January 23, accused the APC administration of being insensitive to the plight of the people in Kaduna state.

Dayo Adeyeye faulted a statement by presidential media aide, Garba Shehu, that the killings in Southern Kaduna is partly the fault of the PDP because it is the only senatorial district in the north west with PDP senator.

The PDP said it was baffled that such a ‘callous, irresponsible and insensitive statement’ could come from a person who speaks for the president of Nigeria.

The party said the statement by Garba Shehu shows the extent to which every issue in the country today is been politicised by the APC and the presidency.

“Is Garba Shehu inferring that the hapless people of southern Kaduna were singled out for genocide because they elected a PDP senator? Or that the

The party called for an international inquiry to see that justice is done concerning the killings in Kaduna.

It said it lacked faith in the governments of Kaduna state and that of the federal level in bringing the culprits of the genocide to book.

Meanwhile, Yusuf Usman Garba, youth leader of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigerian (MACBAN), has listed conditions for lasting peace in Southern Kaduna

Garba listed this while condemning the “illegal” road blocks being allegedly used to “attack Fulani in Southern Kaduna.”

Daily Trust reports that the youth leader lamented the many road blocks in the region. According to him, the road blocks are a source of discomfort to the Fulani herdsmen

Speaking after a meeting which involved MACBAN Pastoral Resolve (PARE) and Mobgal Fulbe Development Association amongst others in Kaduna, Garba said:
