– The malignant growth is fearsome, hence Deputy Speaker of the Delta state House of Assembly sent a delegation to attend to her
– She is still very much in need of help from any good spirited Nigerian to save her life as she is gradually ebbing away
The Friday Osanebi Foundation on Thursday ministered help and succor to Mrs. Jane Okpochini, a breast cancer patient in Amai, Ukwuani local government area of Delta state.
The foundation, moved with compassion, mobilized resources for the woman who desperately needed help to check the spread of the malignant cancerous cells and further save her life.

The team, which stormed Jane Okpochini’s residence on Thursday in Amai, conveyed the foundation’s intention and the good will of its chairman, Rt. Hon. Friday Ossai Osanebi, Deputy Speaker of the Delta state house of assembly.

The foundation’s representatives, who prayed with the woman and the family, also delivered victuals, provisions and cash to comfort her and the children and family and to further facilitate her treatment.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation from the foundation, Agbanashi Obinne, media aide to the Deputy speaker, said: “at the approval and directive of our chairman, Rt. Hon. Friday Ossai Osanebi, we have come to give succor to our sister Jane.
“Though, he’s not around right now, but he has mandated the foundation to reach out to Jane as
“We must always comfort and reassure Jane, that what she’s passing through is but a minor challenge, and would be back to her feet very soon.”
He also revealed that Osanebi was putting work to faith saying he has been praying for her since he got the news of her health challenge.
The cancer patient’s family informed the delegation that they have contacted a specialist from Lagos who has a record of professional excellence in cancer and its related challenges and that they were comfortable with the professional, judging from practical results of her improvement after few days of the professional’s intervention.

Jane, who couldn’t stand up, turn or communicate properly with the foundation’s representatives, gave signs of relief after the prayer and presentations.
On behalf of the family, Edna, Jane’s cousin, led the family to thank the team and prayed specially for the Deputy speaker of the state House of Assembly for his show of love and care.
The team promised to always check on them regularly in order to record progress reports, believing God for speedy healing.
